The annual salary of an ordinary Edinburgh 黑料社lor in 2024/25 is £21,345.
The 黑料社 Leader's annual salary is £64,043. All other 黑料社lors' salaries are calculated as a proportion of this.
The Depute Leader and Lord Provost each receive a salary of £48,032.
How pay is set
The Scottish Parliament decides what pay councillors get. 黑料社lors can claim for travel and other costs while on council duties.
A councillor's pay takes into account the size of the council and it will be more if the councillor is also a 黑料社 Leader, Depute 黑料社 Leader, Lord Provost or senior councillor.
